The first collection is being shaped in Thar.

SURHAAN

She left with very little.
Except everything that mattered.

From Thar to the world.

01 — WHERE IT BEGAN

Before there was SURRR,
there was Thar.

Before there was a brand, there was a place.

A landscape of stone, earth and sunlight.
A place where beauty was not something you searched for.

It was simply part of everyday life.

Surhaan grew up around the quiet language of craft — fabric, thread, colour, pattern and the women who knew how to turn simple materials into something unforgettable.

She did not know then that these small details would stay with her.

She only knew they felt like home.

Some things stay with you,
even when you leave them behind.

02 — THE HANDS THAT TAUGHT HER

She learned from hands
that had learned from hands.

The first lessons were never written down.

They lived in the hands of the women around her.

A thread pulled through cloth.
A pattern repeated until it became instinct.

A colour chosen because it felt right.

Surhaan watched.
Then she tried.

Slowly, she began to understand that craft was more than making something beautiful.

It was patience.
It was memory.

It was knowledge passed quietly from one generation to the next.

And every piece carried a little of the person who made it.

The hands taught her more than how to make clothes.

They taught her why they matter.

03 — THE FIRST PIECE

Then she started
making something of her own.

At first, it was only curiosity.

A sketch.
A piece of fabric.

A pattern changed slightly.

An old idea seen from a different angle.

She began imagining what her heritage might look like if it travelled beyond the place where she had learned it.

Not preserved behind glass.

Not frozen in the past.

But worn.

Moved in.
Lived in.

Made part of ordinary days.

That was when something changed.

Tradition stopped being something she had inherited.

It became something she could continue.

Same roots.
A new story.

04 — LEAVING

Leaving home
does not mean leaving everything behind.

Eventually, there came a day when staying was no longer enough.

There was a bag to pack.
A doorway to walk through.

A goodbye that lasted longer than expected.

She carried clothes.
A few belongings.

And memories that could not be packed into anything.

The landscape behind her became smaller.

The feeling of it did not.

She left Thar without knowing exactly where the road would lead.

But she knew one thing.

She would take what mattered with her.

Sometimes you have to leave home
to understand what home gave you.

05 — ARRIVING IN LONDON

A different world.
The same woman.

London was louder.

Faster.
Colder.

Full of people moving towards places she had never seen before.

At first, everything felt unfamiliar.

The streets.
The weather.

The pace.

The silence between people.

She had come from a place where craft was part of everyday life.

Now she was surrounded by glass, concrete, trains, traffic and endless movement.

But somewhere between the unfamiliar streets and the quiet moments alone, she began to notice something.

She had not lost her old world.

She was simply seeing it from a new distance.

Distance changed the way she saw home.

06 — FINDING HER PLACE

She stopped choosing
between two worlds.

Instead, she began bringing them together.

The colours of home.
The discipline of craft.

The simplicity of modern clothing.

The confidence of a new life.

Old patterns found new shapes.

Traditional details found contemporary silhouettes.

Memories became references.

And somewhere between Thar and London, Surhaan found the idea that would eventually become SURRR.

A brand that did not ask heritage to stay in the past.

A brand that allowed it to move forward.

You do not have to choose
between where you come from

and where you are going.

FROM THAR
TO THE WORLD.

SURHAAN is the woman at the heart of SURRR.

Her story is about where we come from,
what we carry,

and what we choose to create from it.

SURRR

Crafted with Purpose.
Worn with Soul.
